Viper’s-bugloss is an uncommon, but native Irish wildflower also known as Lus nathrach. Growing to 80cm tall this biennial produces strikingly bright blue, funnel-shaped flowers from May to August. The flowers are held on bristly stems and are highly attractive to a range of pollinating insects.
