A marble-leaved sea-holly with evergreen leaves and stems up to 40cm. It forms a basal rosette of round, waxy leaves with white veins above which spiky green, marbled leaves are held on the flowerstems. The flowers are held in sprays of grey, cone-shaped flowerheads above a ring of silver-blue bracts from July to August.
This variable-leaved Sea-holly likes a well-drained soil in full sun.
