A native, but uncommon Irish wildflower also know as Dropwort or Lus braonach. A basal rosette of finely divided leaves looks attractive at the base of drooping panicles of white flowers, held on bare stems up to 45cm from May to June. The flowers are often flushed pink in bud. Related to Meadowsweet, this plant has a looser flowerhead with bigger flowers.

This plant likes a moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
