Halocharis erecta 'Wellington Bronze'

It's the foliage that makes this unusual plant irresistable. (Its flowers are insignificant and reddish from August to October). Many reddish upright growing stems to 40cm carry the serrated glossy bronze tinted leaves. A group of these plants will provide a great texture in the garden. It's great in a planting scheme next to flowering perennials to create harmony (my old fashioned style) or contrast (everyone else's contemporary fashionable style). Every garden should have a group of these plants: a minimum of 3 plants in a group.

This plant likes a well-drained soil in full sun.
