Malva moschata

€6.00

Musk-mallow is a native (or possibly introduced) Irish woody wildflower also known as Hocas muscach. Silk leaves are held on 50cm tall stems. From June to September, pink, five-petalled flowers are held in loose clusters on upright stems. Both the flowers and leaves have a musky scent.

In the wild, Musk Mallow likes to grow in hedgerows and along roadsides in well drained soil. In the garden it would like a moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
