A trailing perennial to 80cm with lovely pale-pink flowers which emit a clove-like scent which is said to attract night-flying moths. It also attracts butterflies during the daytime. The flowers are held in a cloud-like formation on the plant from June to September. As the name suggest, this plant was used to make soap in the past.
